Learn Addic — Smart Flashcard App for iOS & macOS
Learn Addic is a smart flashcard application for iOS and macOS that helps students study more effectively through organized Q&A themes, spaced repetition algorithms, and real-time progress tracking. Create cards 3x faster with a streamlined interface and master any subject systematically.
Problem
Traditional flashcard apps are cumbersome to set up — creating cards takes too long, and organizing them into meaningful study groups is tedious. Many apps lack proper spaced repetition, leading to inefficient review sessions where students either overstudy material they already know or understudy material they've forgotten.
What I Built
A native iOS and macOS application designed for efficient flashcard-based learning:
- Fast Card Creation — Streamlined Q&A input lets you create flashcards 3x faster than traditional apps. Focus on content, not formatting.
- Organized Themes — Group related cards into themes and sub-themes. Study a specific topic or review across all subjects.
- Spaced Repetition — Evidence-based algorithm surfaces cards at optimal intervals for long-term memory retention.
- Progress Tracking — Visual dashboards show mastery level for each theme. Identify weak areas at a glance.
- Cross-Platform Sync — Study on iPhone, iPad, or Mac with seamless data synchronization via iCloud.
Tech Stack
My Role
Sole developer and product designer. Handled everything from initial concept and UX research through UI design, implementation, App Store submission, and ongoing maintenance. Designed the spaced repetition algorithm and cross-platform sync architecture.
Outcome & Status
- Available on iOS 18+ and macOS 15.5+ via the App Store
- Cross-platform sync between iPhone, iPad, and Mac
- Actively maintained with regular feature updates
